European power prices ease as gas markets weaken

The Iberian Exception refers to measures introduced in June 2022 by the Spanish and Portuguese governments to reduce power market prices that were rising alarmingly due to extremely tight international markets for natural gas. This paper offers an independent assessment of those measures.
