European power prices ease as gas markets weaken

EU LNG imports showed a huge increase, up by 102% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019. Global LNG supply glut and converging prices in different regions (e.g.: between Europe and Asia) enabled plentiful LNG influx to Europe.
