European power prices ease as gas markets weaken

The electricity market report for the third quarter of 2022 underlines the extent to which an already tight wholesale electricity market became even tighter. The European Power Benchmark averaged 339 €/MWh in the period – some 222% higher than in the same period twelve months earlier.
