There is clearly a case for continuing Russian gas transit. It would permit existing long-term supply contracts Gazprom has with Slovakia’s SPP and Moldovagaz for Transnistria’s gas supply to continue for example. However, the arguments against are also compelling. Source: Alan Riley, ICDS
