European power prices ease as gas markets weaken

Absent a major supply outage in European production or pipeline imports, the holding of 100 Bcm of storage stocks at the start of December means there is no prospect of any physical shortage this winter, although cold snaps are likely to push prices higher for periods as the market continues to be tight.
