This paper reviews the series of signposts outlined as key indicators of the global gas market during the year and also draws some conclusions about the outlook for gas prices and the supply-demand balance. Gas prices in Europe and Asia have been affected by contradictory forces over the past three months and into the northern hemisphere winter.
