EU agrees historic phase-out of Russian gas by 2027

Almost 23GW of Spain’s 24.6GW CCGT (combined-cycle gas turbine) fleet could be at risk of closure by 2030 if no capacity payment mechanisms are introduced according to a recent presentation by PWC during a webinar organised by Spanish gas association SEDIGAZ.
