Turkey: On the Path to Become an Energy Hub?

Turkey possesses few indigenous natural resources, especially for the leading fossil fuels: Oil and natural gas. However, the country is blessed with its advantageous geographic position that she is located between the Middle East on the South and the Caspian Region on the East that these two regions hold the majority of the world’s oil and gas resources.

 

Thus, clearly, the country serves as natural energy bridge between major energy producing actors and the big consumers of Europe.
